Library 2.0 means new ways of accessing information, composite collections of library materials, easy of searching, a reduction of old collections "just in case", being available to patrons online as well as at the library, a user led environment.

I found this picture when exploring Technorati. These pigs are from my very favorite TV commercial as a small child. I can remember running to the television set every time I heard the jingle come on. I think Frosty Morn was a breakfast meat brand like Jimmy Dean.

del.icio.us is a great tool to simplify accessing the sites that you visit often. I will definitely use this tool, especially when doing research. But what I really need is a tool to give me more time to learn how to use all these tools!

I have created a list of the juvenile books that I have read for monthly reviews. I may need to refer to this list when I take a juvenile literature course for Library School.

LibraryThing is a useful tool for those with large personal collections. My own is quite small, I usually rely on the library's collection. I would like to create a collection of the books that I have reviewed for my monthly cards for Children's Services.

I have created a bloglines account at http://www.bloglines.com/myblogs. I have several of my coworkers blogs saved there as well as Unshelved and some other websites I view often. This is a great shortcut!
